Ötzi the Iceman was found by the German climbers in the Alps on 19^th September 1991. This body was still complete even Ötzi had been frozen in the ice for 5.000 years. By this time, people were exploring the site and Dr. Rainer Henn, found an ancient cooper axe and a stone knife. The Italian accused that the Austrians who kidnap Ötzi. This Iceman wasn’t too tall, he had a medium height and he also got tattooed in his back. Ötzi was well dressed for the cold in a grass cape, leather jacket and trousers, a fur hat and boots stuffed with hay. Many scientists suggest that the iceman probably died in autumn.

Things the scientists did to stop Otzi body from decaying treated for growths of fungus and stored cold room at minus six degrees Celsius. Ötzi ate a lot of coarse gain. He had some decorations on his body too. His climbing kit included a cooper axe, rope, and a leather pouch with a scraper in it, an unstrung bow, and a fur quiver full of infinished arrows. He died because of a snow storm or perhaps even ill health. Ötzi the iceman who was the most romantic theory is that he was a shamans or even holy man.

We had known that everyone loved the Harry Potter films. It created by an author named J.K. Rowling. But, her name J.K. Rowling is the pen name she uses as a writer. The J is for Joanne, her real first name, but actually she prefers to be called Jo. The K is made up, because her publisher asked her to write using a name with two initials, even though she didn’t have a middle name at all.

She worked as a researcher and bilingual secretary for amnesty International and as an English teacher in Portugal, before she struck upon the idea of writing children’s books.  The idea for the Harry Potter novels came from nowhere while she was on a train to London.

Now, Seven Potter novels and Rowling is one of the richest women in the world. In fact, she is the first novelist ever to become a billionaire from writing. Her last four books also broke records for the fastest sellers in literary history. Wow! Today, she devotes much of her time to many charitable causes.

Let me introduce about myself first, my name is Amabel Soewondo. I am no 17^th years old. I have known your Juilliard School since a long time ago from my violin teacher in Surabaya; I hope I could get the violin scholarship from your school.

            I am very interested in your popular university; your school name is very famous in the whole world and especially in the music. I have a good hearing in tune and I have some massive trophies and achievements. I am sure that your school won’t disappoint of my achievements, I am also good at my education too.

            There are so many trophies that I have ever got, such as “MURI” (The Youngest Professional Violinist in Indonesia) when I was still 4 years old. Second, I also got the highest score for my violin examination and I am the youngest too. There is another achievement too, but I am not mentioning it all. Dear Lily,

          Thanks for your last letter, I heard from your family that you have been to Egypt, is it true? Wow! That would be fun, I’m wondering I could go there and spent my holiday in there. But, maybe next chance I will go to Egypt. Sorry, I haven’t replied your letter because I faced the National Government Exam. But, by the way tomorrow is weekend, so I am free now!!

            Everyday I study and prepare for my exams, it makes me stressful. Yeah, School is forcing me with the daily test, assessments or assignments and also projects. Every weekend, I have a team work for making the physics poster. Wow! That’s cool and school is successfully makes my brain stuck and explode,” BOOM”. How about your education? Do you face the same situation like me, Lily? I hope not.

            Anyway, that’s all about my boring routine. I’m so glad I can share it to you. It makes me feel better now. I hope that everything is alright. I am waiting for your next reply to me, As Soon As Possible!

Everything about telecommunication has "Bad Effect"

Technology is invented in this new generation. We have to combine the old-new technology system. So, we can use those multiply system. I have a blackberry and many people in Surabaya also use this mobile phone for business, recreation, chatting and having fun with others. Blackberry has slim body with many functions in that phone. We can also decorate this phone by giving a cell phone chain and case.  Otherwise, every technology has bad effect for our body.

            Sometimes, we use our blackberry until we bad time and we don’t know if our blackberry sleeps with us. We must control to use this mobile-phone, because it was brought bad effect for our routine, especially when we must study to face the exams. There is a good effect for us, we can chat and also have a new friend. But, the problem is, if we don’t know the negative effect from blackberry, how can we keep over from those problems? Blackberry has a high radiation and it can make human become deaf. That is seriously, I am not only giving you advice, but think carefully. Beware for you who have blackberry same as me. So, we have to select the right one and minimize the bad effect from the telecommunication, Blackberry!

Dear School Board,

                I wrote this message about my suggestion for the harmony schools uniform. Schools have to give students some strict rules for the good of students. One of that is about wearing complete uniforms and the uniforms have to be clean. So, they all look neat and polite. It’s very effect their study time. Now, look at the smart students always use complete uniform, it reflects the personality of students. If they disagree with the rules, maybe try to give them feedback or advice. So, they know what the main function of using uniforms is.

          I also think if we didn’t use uniform, any bad things will be happen to us, like the bad guy could kidnap the students. Also the school couldn’t identify who is the student. Student’s safety depends on the school rule about wearing uniforms. If students cooperate and listen to the rules, student’s safety will be going on smoothly. Uniform is symbolizing of our own personality. It will give good effect for every student in school. Let us compare the students using uniform with using any clothes that students want. Actually, for the safety, school won’t guarantee. Think it properly for your future life. Yes, students think wearing uniforms is a strict rule, but is it gives bad effect for the students? I think you are false if thought like that.

The New Era Effect

                I am a student of Gloria Christian School, one of famous Christian School in Surabaya, Indonesia. I was still Junior High; I am interesting about many things, especially in technology, music and languages. I’d like to introduce you the new era’s mobile-phone that had internet connection on it. It called Blackberry.  I thought computer or anything that has a relation with internet like Blackberry, iPhone, and Computers were very useful for our generation. It could give much knowledge for everyone. We can search fast and without wasting time, because time is money. Internet gave two effects; that was the good effect also the vice versa. Chat and mad new friends would be so easy.

            Blackberry is a mobile-phone that designed for everyone. It was slim with multi function inside. It designed for every age, from the teenage, business until the old one. We have to accept the function and reject the negative effect. Example; we have a new friend but we didn’t know much about their family background. Do we know he/she is a good or bad person? I think we didn’t know. We should identify it by our self with search many information about their personality. That communication technology had invented in this era, the era where people need much things for communicating each other.

            I was happy because I had two of them, such as; Blackberry and computer/laptop. I had to attention and be careful about the negative effect of internet. Everyone had to select and know the bad and the good effect from the technology, so the conclusion is we have to choose the right way and left the negative effects.
